Are you looking for an Aussie who loves people ? Then look no further, Teddy ARPH #14425 may be your man. This handsome neutered red tri male is 1 year old (D.O.B. 5/16/22), he entered rescue due to allergies in the family. He is your typical velcro Aussie that likes to be with his person. Teddy loves other dogs and would not mind a home with an active doggy companion who likes to roughhouse and who enjoys physical play. He has not been exposed to cats so will only be placed in a cat free home. Teddy is a solid 55 pounds with typical young dog exuberance and energy. For this reason he will not be placed in homes with children under 12 years of age.

Teddy requires an active home. He would be a great hiking or running partner. He also likes to learn so may enjoy one of the many canine activities such as rally, nosework, or barn hunt. Teddy would benefit from a manners class so he can fine-tune his commands and reach is potential.

Teddy is not a fan of the crate, though he will accept it. While staying at his foster home he has not been destructive when left loose.

Teddy is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and has been heartworm tested. He is housebroken and will vocalize when he needs to go out. A physical fence to keep him safe is required. We do require a vet reference as well as a home visit. He is being fostered on Long Island.
