Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Misty
Misty is a single orphan that was dropped off at the Lancaster Animal Shelter on June 20, 2023. She was close to three weeks old, so we will say her birthday is June 1, 2023. She initially had minor eye infections and nasal congestion, but was otherwise healthy and recovered quickly. By day two, once she could breathe a little better, she was a great bottle feeder. We had had a rainy week, and she has a beautiful gray coat, so that’s why we went with Misty. Oh, and she loves belly rubs. That was the way to her heart.
We are advocates for adopting two kittens together because they keep each other comforted and entertained while you are away and help each other burn off energy, so please consider that Misty has been fostered with another single orphan, Jag. We would love to see them adopted together, but if you already have a companion cat or a cat-friendly dog, we will accept applications for Misty alone. She will be old enough to leave for her forever home the first week of August.
Please note: We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis. We always look for the best fit for the kitten and for the adopters. The adoption fee is $150 for one kitten and $225 for two. The fee covers FIV/FeLV testing, deworming, vaccinations, and spay/neuter with a partner vet.
To set up a visit, drop me a note at cherylsferalsandfosters@gmail.com or PM me. If you are considering adopting, please fill out and submit the adoption contract found in The Adoption Process link on my website (cherylsferalsandfosters.com). In the meantime, you can follow their journey on Facebook: Cheryl’s Ferals and Fosters Chat Group. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue.
