My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jag
Jag came to our rescue on June 8, 2023, as an abandoned orphan. He appeared to be about a week old, so we are calling his birthday June 1. Jag was found alone in a local warehouse in a tub of resin. He must have ingested some of the resin because he pooped sparkly green plastic for the first few days.
In the beginning, it was pretty obvious he was searching for his mother as he rooted under the incubator stuffed animal trying to nurse; however, it only took a few days for him to imprint on me and to associate me with food, companionship, and comfort. Although he was small and fragile, he bottle fed well and gained weight rapidly. But starting out he was lanky, sleek, and scrappy like a Jaguar, which reminded us of the hood ornament on Jaguar cars. Now that he has filled out and his coat has matured, he is stocky and muscular.
We are advocates for adopting two kittens together because they keep each other comforted and entertained while you are away and help each other burn off energy, so please consider that Jag has been fostered with another single orphan, Misty. We would love to see them adopted together, but if you already have a companion cat or a cat-friendly dog, we will accept applications for Jag alone. He will be old enough to leave for his forever home the first week of August.
Please note: We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis. We always look for the best fit for the kitten and for the adopters. The adoption fee is $150 for one kitten and $225 for two. The fee covers FIV/FeLV testing, deworming, vaccinations, and spay/neuter with a partner vet.

If you are considering adopting, please fill out and submit the adoption contract found in The Adoption Process link on my website (cherylsferalsandfosters.com).
