Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This gentle lady came to me with her 4 kittens. The original plan for her was TNR (which is why the tip of her ear is missing), but she was way too sweet and docile to be put back on the streets. It’s clear from her temperament that she grew up with a family before being abandoned - she definitely didn’t grow up feral on the streets. Like every other unfixed female cat abandoned outside to fend for themselves, she was beaten up by the colony ferals. We don’t know how many litters she’s had, even though she’s still so young herself. She was an amazing mom, but now it’s time for her to be the baby. She’s incredibly sweet and loves love, but she’s timid around new people. She doesn’t run away or swipe, she just cowers and closes her eyes. It’s incredibly heartbreaking, and likely that out on the street she was just paralyzed by fear. But once you start petting her or scratching her head, she leans hard into your hand and will crawl into your lap. She doesn’t like dogs, but she has no reaction to other cats. She craves love and attention so badly, and you can feel the gratitude and happiness flowing out of her when you give her love. She’s so special, and it has been such a privilege to show her the love and safety she deserves. She has SO much love to give, and she melts the heat of everyone who meets her.
*** All HHAK cats are spayed/neutered, FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated.
