My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darcy is an adorable, small, silver wiggly thing full of love. She is great with other calm/fun dogs like her. She is playful and funny. Darcy is also a bite risk. She was unintentionally trained not to growl or give any warning - except to freeze - when she is terrified. Knowing and using that information, her new people can stay safe and help her learn better methods to communicate nonverbally with people. If you have prior experience with dogs, a safe place for Darcy to move in/out on her own without handling, and a way to protect her for the rest of her life - 10-15 years - from things she can't control such as children; you might be the loved one she is seeking! She comes when called, sits and lies down on cue, and is learning stay. She is quiet, and clean in the house. Darcy can easily jump into a favored lap. She is good with an experienced groomer though her hair doesn't seem to grow quickly.
