Despite his spicy thumps, he is actually a lovebug who ADORES head scratches and ear rubs! -- -- -- -- This handsome, sweet guy had a rough start after being rescued from the mean, scary outdoors (see link below for his rescue story). He would be a great friend for someone who works from home or has the time and patience to earn his trust. He enjoys his personal space but if you are willing to wait and let him warm up to you, he will start giving you nose bonks and begging for love! He has very neat litter habits, LOVES throwing his stacking cups, and will melt your heart if you give him a chance! -- -- -- -- Things he loves: dried strawberries, cilantro, head rubs, toys he can throw, rabbit-safe wood for chewing, a calm space, small covered places to hide, room to explore, his own space for napping and exploring -- -- -- -- Things he will tolerate: calm, respectful dogs; grooming; an enclosed space if he has lots of roam time or human interaction (a larger enclosure or rabbit-proofed room is his preference) -- -- -- -- Things he does not like: being held or picked up, loud noises, hands coming at him from above (it's scary for him - but if you get on his level he might give you a nose boop once he knows you're a friend), being kept in a cage or small enclosure - he is a sweet, curious boy who likes to explore his surroundings! -- -- Apply for Percy at https://rabbitangelsrabbitrescue.com/forms/adoption_app.php?bunname=Percy Our adoption fee is $120 for a single and $180 for a bonded pair. All adoptions are subject to approval and acceptance of terms. Not all persons will be approved. Upon approval a 50% non-refundable deposit is required for adoption commitments before a rabbit will be held. You will need to have the housing area all set up and ready for the rabbit to move in.
