Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scooter is a super sweet, mixed-breed male dog. He's a cuddler who loves to play fetch & tug, but also loves to be a 55 lb couch potato, snuggling with his human family. If you have other dogs, he will love playing with them and he will match their energy level. He previously lived with a standard poodle, and he adores our two dogs (a 40 lb beagle mix & 50 lb pitbull). Scooter has also been fine around our cat!
Scooter enjoys walks, and he does fairly well with the "PetSafeEasy Walk® Harness." He does need a little more training for a leash attached to a tradition collar, as he prefers to take the leash himself and play tug with it.
Scooter attaches very strongly to the families he lives with, and prefers to be in the same room as them whenever possible. He is fine to sleep on a dog bed, in a crate or just in the floor, as long as he can be with his family. He becomes anxious when left in a crate alone, but we found is behaves fairly well when he's left out of the crate, no destructive tendencies.
If you would like to meet Scooter please fill out an adoption application or contact and
