UPDATED PROFILE:
Mary Karen weighs 12 lbs. and is estimated to be 4-6 years old. During her spay it became apparent she was used as a breeding mom. She was rescued as a stray and never claimed. She is fully vetted with a dental and is microchipped.
We’ve learned she attaches quickly & becomes a bit overly attached. She craves security & routine, to be your shadow, your cuddle bug.
Mary Karen is house-trained, loves squeaky toys, playing fetch and running in the grass. She has not shown any guarding of food or toys but has become overly protective of her people if being held or on a leash and approached by a stranger. She is more than ready to bond with her forever family and to become their devoted companion for life. She is a great little dog that learns quickly but requires understanding of her need to go slow with new experiences.
Due to her strong prey drive cats not recommended and she does best with dogs her own size or larger.
A home without children required.
Due to her leash reactivity a fenced yard is important unless you live in a setting where she won’t encounter strangers while going out to potty on leash.
She is a fun and very loving dog who could easily be misunderstood but you could not ask for a more loving and devoted dog.
No out of state adoptions.
