Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This helps LAPAW Rescue & TNR with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, I'm Deacon! Life at the shelter is pretty cool, but I'm aching for a home of my own. I'm a mellow fellow who loves to goof around. My friends here say I'm a sweet, loyal companion. I've got a unique wiggle-waddle walk that makes everyone chuckle. I'm the kind of dog who loves to lounge around, but I also enjoy a good play session. I'm friendly with everyone I meet, and I'm always ready to give out kisses. I promise to be your loyal companion and bring joy to your life. Adopting me means gaining a forever friend who will always be there to make you smile. (I'm "special needs"--I am deaf.)

LAPAW Rescue spays or neuters every animal, provides all shots, and vet checks every animal. Anyone interested in adopting must fill out an adoption application and be screened by an adoption coordinator. Home visits are required prior to adoptions. The home visit is to assure the safety of the animal and that the dog is a good match for the family.
