My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Woody is a handsome 1.5 year old neutered male pup looking for a home to call his own! This sweet boy was adopted from us as a puppy but came back when his owner could no longer care for him. He is a very good boy and does well with other friendly dogs, however he will need to go to a home without any small animals. Woody loves to go on fun adventures and hikes and will need an active home where he will get adequate exercise and stimulation. He can climb tall fences so the family that adopts him will need to know about his tendency to climb if he is left in the yard alone so that he stays safe.

Cats are $70.00, kittens are $100. Dogs are $100.00 and puppies are $150. This includes the spay or neuter, vaccination, microchips, a voucher for a free health exam at a local vet. We require photo identification and required adoption paperwork. You may take your new pet home the same day. There is a 7 day grace period for a refund to make sure that the animal is a fit for your household.

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
