Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Buddy Boy! This sweet boy is absolutely perfect! We think Buddy is a hound mix with redbone coonhound and maybe Catahoula leopard dog! What we do know for sure, is he is amazing! Buddy is about 2 years old and 65 pounds. Buddy is a very happy boy that is playful but also likes to be calm and chill. Watching TV with his new family may be the perfect pastime. Buddy is house and crate trained. He also does well on a leash, and he will need some practice to make walks fun and exciting! Buddy is lucky to be alive, he came to us minutes before he was to lose his life at the shelter, and we are very grateful to be able to help him find his forever home. Buddy also had blood work at his last vet visit!
Interested in becoming a forever home for Buddy? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.
Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws.
We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Buddy.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Buddy the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.
Our adoption fee is $300. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
