Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Courtesy Post** Estimated to have been born around 3/30/23, this four month old cutie would love to be in your forever home. Rescued on June 19, 2023, she was thoroughly and disgustingly infested with ticks from nose to tail-end. After several baths and a visit to the emergency vet hospital, she came from near-death to full life. I named her “Tickels”, as a reminder, and while she seems to respond to that name, you can always rename her…but I think Tickels fits her personality! Bearing the resemblance of a Jack Russell Terrier with some beagle features, her infectious personality will delight you. She is thoroughly engaging: playful, friendly, tenacious, knows no strangers/fearless, sweet and loving, full of pep and quick-witted especially for her age! She will do well with other dogs and older children…no one younger than 12 years old. Though she’s had a rough start to life, she is resilient and strong. Her mesmerizing eyes will capture your heart. She loves to play with other dogs no matter the size. Cats are a curiosity to her at this point, she is not aggressive but playful towards them. She loves everyone. She sleeps well during the night, and her biological alarm clock goes off at 5:30 am, but she also likes to nap during the day. Her fur is very soft, medium short, all white with light brown features. With an estimated life expectancy of 13-15 years, she will be a delightful, enduring addition to your home and give you more than you can ever give to her. Potty training is still on-going, though she hits the pads 50-60% of the time. She loves to play in water. She will “collect” your personal effects (shoes, socks, clothing, slippers) and cuddle and even sleep with them to “imprint” you on her soul. She is the kind of pup you will instantly and forever fall in love with. I have several other dogs and love this pup, but she deserves a home where she can receive special and dedicated attention and love. I don’t just want to find her “a” home, but “the” home where she will be forever yours and be graciously and lovingly taken care of. I want her to have a home with a fenced in yard. A home visit will be done before placement. There is a small rehoming fee and a spay deposit. If you are interested please let me know and I will email you an adoption application.
