Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, friends! It’s Ellie (or more formally, Eleanor). I’m a 75lb female English Bulldog with the sweetest personality you will ever see and the most adorable droopy bully face. I’m writing to you from the luxurious resort, otherwise known as my foster home. You guys should see this place - it’s amazing! My foster parents treat me like a queen, which they say is well-deserved.

I don’t remember much about my previous life before coming to CEBR - I think I blocked it all out. I was a stray on the street when I was turned into animal control, and CEBR came to the rescue from there. The vet tells me that I am about 6-7 years old and may have been used for breeding several times. Whatever the case may be, that’s in my past, and I am loving my retirement.

Did you guys know about toys? I just learned what these are, and now I love them! I also love laying on the couch with my foster parents and watching this thing they call a TV. Sometimes a commercial for food or other dogs comes on the TV thing and I get so excited because I think they are the real thing! I also love the name that my foster family gave me, and now I know it and get so excited when I hear it, that I wag my little tail nonstop.

I love being with humans more than anything and am still working on my manners with other dogs, including my foster sister. I am potty trained, and I just recently was spayed (whatever that is - I don’t know because I slept through it) and had some dental work done on my million-dollar smile. I have a heart of gold and am physically strong. I think I would like children but have not been exposed to them yet. I also love going on my walks every day - there is so much to see and explore in the world around me, now that I know I am in a safe home, with people who love me.
