My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Beau from the local APA (Animal Protection Association) in January. I had just finished cancer treatment in October and then a dog we had owned for many years died himself of cancer. Beau was born on the last day of my treatment and his face is so adorable I fell in love. While he was a large puppy we did not realize how very large he was going to get. We live in a small house in the city with a very small yard. He is very high energy, 9 mos old & weighs 83 pounds. Post treatment I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis. While playing he will jump and knock me down - not because he's mean but because he is playing. We have a contract with SitMeansSit - which will be honored for new owner. He sits very well, but gets easily distracted on a leash. We have been taking him for daily walks to help burn off his energy but he needs more than we can offer. Due to concerns for my health we feel like he needs a place where he has much more room to play.
