Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOR ADOPTION: ROXY is a fun and playful 2 year old, approximately 55lb female looking for an active family that will keep up with her energy. Roxy is the mother of our #NWASHerbPups and is quite happy to have finished nursing and be back to feeling like a young pup herself. She truely enjoys playing with other playful young dogs but is capable of being respectful with more calm and mature dogs as well. Roxy is not a great choice for a home with cats, she’s been quite intense in her testing with them and is showing that she has a strong prey drive. This also means Roxy may not make the best farm dog either. She is great with kids that enjoy cuddling and play, she will soak up all the human attention we can through her way. Roxy is highly food driven which comes with its pros and cons. On the plus side she is highly good motivated and easily trainable, on the negative she is food possessive towards other dogs and will need to be closely monitored during any feeding times around other dogs. She is a fairly high energy girl, we cannot think of a single outdoor activity that she will not be able to keep up on or enjoy doing. She is clean in her kennel at the shelter, has been non destructive in her down time and rides well in the vehicle. Overall Roxy will make a fantastic addition to any active family. She is spayed, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you’ve been looking for a fun new adventure buddy apply today at www.NWAS.ca for a chance to meet ROXY #NWASRoxy
