My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Monty Python came to MHRR from Companion Animal Alliance in March 2023. Monty is sweet boy that loves to get head rubs. He uses his litterbox well (all pee, most poop). He can be picky and will nip when he is unhappy, such as when being held or if he doesn't like someone new in his house.  He readily comes up to people to investigate. He does OK with nearby bunny neighbors and gentle dogs, and isn't afraid of loud noises. He's had a lot of homegrown veggies and has loved just about everything including lettuce, cilantro, parsley, kale, and carrots. He loves to play with toys such as shredding paper and cardboard like TP rolls or boxes. From his first foster dad: 'He is VERY hyper! He will run right up every time I pass by to beg for treats/pets/attention. He does bite fingers (out of curiosity, not meanness!). He loves head rubs and will snuggle up for petting. Very sweet, curious, and energetic!' From his summer 2024 foster parents: 'Our foster bunny Monty Python is nothing like the rabbit of Caerbannog. He is sweet, well mannered, excited, loving, loyal, curious, and independent. He’s definitely what I’d call a “puppy” rabbit.' Spay/neuter: 3/29/23 @ Azalea Lakes Vet Fecal test: negative 4/11/24 Last weight: 7.8lbs 4/11/24 Medgene RHDV2 vaccine dates: 4/17/24, initial boosters 3/27/23 & 4/20/23 This pet is fostered in Baton Rouge, LA.
