My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Willow is a Poodle/ShihTzu mix about 2 years old and 13 pounds. This poor girl shares the same story as many others. She was brought to the shelter by someone who found her, covered in foxtails and burs and other debris. The worst part is that she had 3 foxtails in her eye and eyelid! Fortunately, no damage was done to the eye. She also had several foxtails in the ears, as well as the rest of her body. The shelter had no choice but to totally strip her. Once her soft, beautiful hair grows back, she will be stunning!

Willow is amazingly loving and playful for all that she's been through. She has a LOT of energy, being only 2 years old, and loves to romp around. She really enjoys playing with her four-legged friends.

When she's not playing with her friends, she's looking for her foster mom and dad to say Hi and give a couple of gentle doggie kisses. Willow loves to go for walks but needs a little bit of training to curb her exuberance. Willow is a sweet-natured girl who's good with kids and super friendly with strangers. This lucky girl is grateful for a second chance, and it's just a matter of a few months before her beautiful non-shedding coat grows back.
