My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Cabana, a long-term shelter resident longing for happiness through the gift of adoption.

I have been homeless for almost all of my life; the shelter is the only safe haven I’ve ever known. Despite never having had a family before, it is all I have ever wanted. There are so many extroverted personalities here, which makes it really difficult for a quieter kitty like me to stand out among the rest. I try hard in my own subtle and sweet way, but I haven’t had much success in drawing attention to myself.

Even though I feel discouraged sometimes, I continue to believe that my person is out there searching for someone just like me. I’m as gentle and loving as they come, and I have so much joy to offer the one who will open their home and heart to me.

If you think you might be the gem of a human being I’m dreaming of, please contact or stop into the shelter to apply for me. Given the chance, I promise to spend every day of my life being grateful for you and our friendship.
