My story

MEET MAGNIFICENT MAE!
Mae is a beautiful Chi/Doxi mix who has a huge personality, a cute little piggy tail and ears that go on forever. Mae has quite a story about her life, starting with her being born in the back of an SUV. Mae had issues nursing early on and at 5 weeks old ended up at UCD vet hospital where she was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia and Megaespphagus which is a condition that affects their esophagus and makes swallowing difficult. Her foster mom had a lot to learn about caring for a tiny puppy with ME. Mae was started on medication and taken from mom for special feedings. Mae has always been active 4and happy, she loves playing with her foster sisters and wrestling with her foster kitten sister. As Mae has grown her ME symptoms were less and less obvious.. When Mae went to UCD Vet school for her spay surgery she was examined and had xrays taken and thankfully has been given a clean bill of health. Happily there are not signs of ME and Mae can no eat like a normal dog and can live a long happy life. Mae's perfect home will have furry siblings that love to play and where she can sleep cuddled with her loving humans. Mae loves running around the backyard and napping in the sunshine.
Mae is spayed, UTD on vaccinations and microchipped.
