My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Lucky. I am a middle aged terrier. I had been dumped in a dumpster in Mexico and left to die. My body was covered in ticks, matted fur, and my eyes were crusted shut. I was diagnosed with erlichia which has been treated. Because my eyes were left untreated for so long, I will need eye drops for the rest of my life to be comfortable. I am so worth it though! I have learned to trust those who take care of me. I like curling up next to my humans and giving kisses. I am food motivated. I am good with other dogs and ignore the cats at the rescue.
