Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What do you say when you look at a young puppy and think, "you just can't catch a break"? He was given up by someone at 16 weeks who wasn't ready for a puppy and handed off to a family who was not dedicated to training and meeting his needs, even when their established dogs were not kind to a rambunctious puppy.
Cash wasn't taught proper play or interactions with other dogs. We're hopeful that dedicated training will help...but only time will tell. At this time we're saying we believe that Cash would be best placed as a single pup in a home. He has lived with children and loves all people. Australian Shepherds are a working breed so he will need a home that keeps him occupied and busy. He loves to cuddle but he's no couch potato. He needs an active family. We do require that Cash's adoptive family have a 6 ft fence or be dedicated to walking him. He can scale and jump a 4' fence.
In a perfect world Cash would have a stay at home parent or a parent that was able to take him to work. He has a wee bit of separation anxiety that manifests in an upset tummy. Continued training may help with this going forward. His current foster is working with him.
Cash is a sweet boy that needs stability and a loving family. All he's had to date is "wishy washy." Even with the few hiccups he has...he's a wonderful pup with so much potential and love to give. He even rolls over, ever so sweetly on his back, to have his nails clipped.
He is vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. He will go home with pet insurance.
