Stowe!
Poor little Stowe recently joined us a cast off from a commercial breeding operation. While we were expecting an approx sweet and timid 1 yr old mini golden doodle what we actually seem to have ended up with is an approx 6 year old mini poodle mix (approx 31 lbs) who still had full milk ducts when she came to us. She is however definitely timid and sweet. We really don't know anything about her puppies and while she would initially hide at the back of her crate and literally shake at times she will now come to the front of her crate to greet you. She is still very shut down and will need patient people willing to continue to work with her on being comfortable walking on a leash and just generally exposing her to all the fun wonderful things the world holds. We know she is a work in progress but every day she cowers a little less and will now come to us for pets and give gentle kisses before retreating, and it definitely warms our hearts and lets us see the wonderful dog that desperately wants to break through. She is good with other dogs.
Stowe's adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations and microchipping. She is also up to date on preventatives and basic vet care and has had heartworm testing and basic bloodwork done.
