Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTERED IN: Adoption Center - Frankfort, IL 60423
ESTIMATED DOB: 06/2022
COLOR/BREED: Tabby and White Shorthair
KIDS: Older
DOGS: Unknown
CATS: Yes
HISTORY:
Milton came to us from Louisiana. A resident thought he was feral so they trapped him to neuter and return. After he was neutered it turned out he was not feral and he kept acting as if he wanted to come inside so the residents befriended him and decided his best life would be inside as a family pet.
ABOUT:
Once labeled as a "shy guy", Milton has really come out of his shell during his stay at our adoption center. He can be a touch sensitive to loud noises or sudden movements, this kind-hearted soul just wants to be your friend. Once he trusts you, he won't leave you alone. He'll be rubbing against your legs, rolling over on his back and letting you softly pet his belly. Milton shows his affection by giving gentle little love bites while you pet him, so don't be alarmed if he places his teeth on you. That means he likes you! However, because of this, he probably would not be an ideal candidate for younger children, though older kids/teenagers who are calm and gentle would be a good fit.
Milton gets along well with other cats, so long as they are not bullies. He'll even allow himself to be groomed by others. In fact, we have found that Milton is much more outgoing when he is paired with a social kitty, so we are seeking a home for him that has at least one other welcoming cat. Once he's comfortable in his new environment, he'll even show his playful side (he especially likes wand type toys). And once he's had his fill of attention for the time being, he's perfectly content to find a comfy spot to relax in, making him the perfect mix of affectionate and independent. He'd excel in a low energy household with a fellow friendly feline and a patient, loving family who want a chill, exceptionally sweet companion. His bright, expressive eyes make him quite photogenic, and you'll never tire of taking pictures of his cute face!
