CALLIE is a very special senior female kitty with beautiful dilute calico fur (pale orange and gray). She is such a sweetie! She's playful, loves attention, purrs often, and even taps you on the shoulder when she wants attention! Even though Callie is about 10 years old, she loves to play with toys! She's a very talkative lady who loves to tell you about her day. She was very well behaved once she got situated in her foster home - she has perfect litterbox manners and doesn't make messes, eat indoor plants, or jump up on the counters. She loves hanging out in her kitty bed and sleeping, or watching her foster work at home. Callie was taken into our rescue after her owner could no longer care for her. She is diabetic and gets two small insulin shots per day (and she's very good about taking the shots). She also takes a tiny thyroid pill two times a day. She eats diabetic dry food and Friskies pate canned food. The vet has advised that she only have access to food a couple hours a day to best deal with her diabetes. Callie is ready and waiting for her perfect forever family who will care for her like the princess she is. Will you love Callie for the rest of her sweet days?
CALLIE has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet CALLIE in foster care, please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $70 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
