My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cheeks, the charming 4-year-old kitty who's been eagerly awaiting his purr-fect forever home for over a year and a half. This big-hearted boy was rescued from a barn in East Greenville, where he simply appeared one day. Cheeks is not just your ordinary feline; he's a delightful and lovable oaf who adores snuggling on laps, seeking endless pets, and showering affection.

Imagine the sheer satisfaction of having Cheeks perched on the back of your sofa, purring softly as you enjoy your favorite TV shows together. His playful side emerges when he engages in spirited exercises, chasing laser dots and spinning plastic balls in his mini tower toy. Despite being FIV positive, Cheeks doesn't let anything dampen his spirits. He does prefer to be the solo star in the household, relishing all the attention and love he can get.

If you're looking for a one-and-only furry friend to share your heart and home, Cheeks is eagerly waiting to meet you at his foster home in East Greenville. Get ready for lap snuggles, gentle purrs, and a lifetime of heartwarming moments with this adorable and fuzzy companion! Adopt Cheeks and let the love-filled journey begin!

to submit an adoption application for this cat. Once you submit the application, one of our Adoption Reps will contact you and work with you through the adoption process. They can help to arrange a meeting for you with the cat/kitten.

All cats and kittens adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been microchipped, spayed/neutered, are litterbox trained, have received age-appropriate vaccinations, and have been tested and found negative for FeLV and FIV - unless otherwise specifically noted. When you adopt you get a copy of our internal tracking document showing all vet work completed for the cat, which you can give to your vet as a record for the cat's ongoing care.

Thank you for considering adopting this cat! If you have any questions, please contact us.

Additional adoption info

During review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease.

We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption.

Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative.

All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted.

You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings). If you see a cat there that you like, you can complete an adoption application there in person.

Questions - email us at: contact@straycatblues.org. We are happy to answer general questions, and also put you in touch with the foster families for questions about specific cats.

Adoption Fees:
• $150 - Kittens up to one year of age
• $100 - For cats over one year and up to 7 years of age
• $70 - For cats 7 years of age and over.
All fees are subject to Pennsylvania's 6% sales tax and a minimum of $5 or 5% service fee.
Fees for cats with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.
