Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Teddy in Lowell, Maine ! A lovable 15-week-old ball of herding dog energy and enthusiasm! Teddy is your
typical go-go-go Aussie/Border Collie mix little guy with the most adorable freckles. But don’t
let his cuteness fool you. He can be a loveable little devil as well! Typical puppy chewing as his teeth are coming in. Lots of frozen Kongs and rubber chew toys are a must! Loves running and playing, especially with kids over about 7. With the right training, he will make an excellent running buddy! Teddy is vocal and very opinionated! He’ll let you know just what he thinks.
He’s super smart and just the right age to be trained for a job.
Teddy is working on crate training, basic commands and potty training. But he’ll need patience and more training to become the good boy he was meant to be! He’d love a fenced yard to run and play...plus several kids and fur-brothers or sisters to play with! He was lovingly raised from birth by a kind and loving ASF foster who doted on this litter of seven! He is well socialized and loves people and other dogs. He is being fostered in Lowell, Maine until he finds his furever home.
Teddy’s ideal adopter could be an active single person who loves running, biking or hiking
because Teddy can go all day! Or he could go to an active young family looking for a real family
dog to grow up with their kids. Dog sports like Frisbee, Fast Cat or Flyball could well become
this active boy’s future job with the right training. He’ll have the size and smarts for them! His home should have plenty of space for Teddy to run, play and grow. A fenced yard is ideal, but not a deal breaker. He’s currently about 20 lbs and growing fast. Loves to eat! Experience with raising and training herding dog puppies will be a definite plus in helping him turn into the loyal companion he was born to be.
