Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dolly is being fostered in Belton, TX. Applicants must reside within the state of Texas.
Please meet precious Dolly!! She is a Morkie (Maltese Yorkie mix). She and her buddy were found at a dumpster in the Austin Texas area. Dolly was panting and having major issues and was rushed to the vet upon leaving the shelter. This precious girl was immediately taken back and given oxygen. We pulled labs and all in all they didn't look too bad. She did have a heart murmur due to her stresses and she was also extremely overweight. Dolly was treated and released on meds until we got labs back. The next day she was still having difficulties so we ran tests for Cushings and it was positive. We have started meds and she is on a special weight management food and she has already dropped over 2 lbs within a week's time! We have absolutely high hopes for this baby girl. Medically we are most definitely on the upside.
Let's talk about the sweetest girl ever! Sweet Miss Dolly loves nothing more than belly rubs and being talked to. Her second favorite thing is napping on a big dog bed. She’s a plump little lady and will need small walks daily to help her lose a little bit more weight. Dolly is a total sweetheart whose personality is blossoming more and more every day. She is friendly to other dogs, cats and people. Dolly would do best in a quiet household with people to love on her. She is also potty trained and walks very well on a leash, although with her weight and the heat, she can’t go very far yet. In just a week's time, we are seeing her just recoup and truly blossom.
We have completed this little ladies vetting other than a check up on her meds so if you \'re looking for just a lap full of love, she is right here! She will be a great baby for almost all households so please complete the application below. If you would like to contribute to her medical or any of our babies, we so appreciate any love you can give!
