My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Female Bernedoodle, not neutered, 67lbs. Born November 2021. We recently rescued Pepper from a breeder. She seems to have been abused. She was shy, almost frozen, for a couple days but has really come out of her shell since then. She's calm, and loving. We have a tiny shipoo in the house and Pepper has been good with him and our kids(ages 6,11,&14). She spends most of her day sleeping under the bushes. She's notorious for coming up and nudging your hand so you'll pet her. She has tested positive for heartworms, which is treatable. Pepper needs a loving patient family that can give her time and attention. She walks very well on a leash but will need a fenced yard.
She was severely matted so we had to shave her down. She was soooo patient while we shaved her and gave her a good bath. Her coat will be wavely/curly when it comes in.
