My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Donashello is probably the biggest slider you have ever met. Were assuming this is a female just based on size alone. She will eat fish like there’s no tomorrow. Some turtles I’ve seen live with some pretty big fish. This turtle is NOT IT. She is very sweet and has now figured out how to be social like the other turtles. She even asks nicely for food! Dona does have a very rough shell, considering she was left in a cardboard box for two days we’re not surprised however after a few good shed she should be

More about this rescue

Rubys Reptile Rodeo, a 501c3 non profit rescue, was founded early 2021 but was officially put into place January 1st 2023. We originally were the New Hampshire branch of Fresh Start Reptile Rescue Inc however due to our outstanding growth in just one year, we developed our own 501c3. The community has been amazing in the past year to this husband and wife team; we aim to keep reaching higher and higher each year. Currently, we take in all non venomous reptiles, amphibians, arachnids and all arthropods. We do also take in small mammals in extreme circumstances.
