Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you looking to add a bundle of joy and unconditional love to your life? Look no further than Micah, a charming 13-year-old, 11-pound sweetheart, who is patiently waiting for his perfect forever home. Currently fostered in Danbury, North Carolina, Micah is ready to embark on a new chapter of his life, and thanks to easy and affordable transportation, distance won't be a barrier for potential adopters.
Micah is up-to-date on his rabies and DHPP vaccines, and he has tested negative for heartworm. Micah is also neutered, ensuring a long and healthy life ahead.
Micah was surrender to the rescue because his owner fell ill. He only lived with her three short years after she adopted him out of a county animal shelter. Micah is a resilient pup, proving that age is just a number. When he was surrendered, his fur had been shaved, but don't worry - it will grow back! Underneath that temporary change, he usually has plenty of fur to keep him warm and cozy.
Micah's energy level is just right - not too high, not too low. He enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes and ages, making him the ideal companion for other four-legged friends. Micah has no apparent joint problems and is able to go up and down stairs and jump on a chair to cuddle with his foster. He seems to hear and see just fine.
This little guy is an absolute people lover. Micah will follow you around the house, ensuring he's by your side wherever you go. In his foster environment, Micah has proven to be well-behaved and good with children, although we would prefer a home without small children, given his small size.
Micah is the perfect blend of playfulness and watchfulness. He is not "yappy" but will bark to let you know if someone is at the door . He quickly warms up to strangers.
Traveling with Micah will be a breeze, as he rides well in the car and walk well on a leash - a testament to his adaptability and easy-going nature. If you're interested in adopting Micah, you can find more information and fill out an application on the rescue's website, carolinacaninerescuenc.com. You'll be rewarded with years of love, joy, and tail wags from this adorable 13-year-old bundle of furry happiness. A second video is available on the rescue website.
