Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🐾MINKA🐕
Minka is a 5 year old shepherd mix that was left behind by her family, and one of our fosters couldn’t see her spend one more day in the shelter! She is now thriving in foster care & ready for her forever 🫶🏼
Minka is such a beautiful gentle giant who lives to spend time with her people and go on walks. Despite being left for dead by her family of
5 years, she is still the happiest, calmest, most trusting girl. 🥰
Minka is great in her crate (she’s never had an accident or whined) and is an angel on the leash. If you’re looking for a settled house trained adult dog, she’s the one for you! She has not had any accidents inside or been destructive in her foster home. She doesn’t want to play with other dogs, but is very tolerant of her annoying puppy foster siblings. She also loves to swim! 🐕
Despite being great with big dogs, she is not good with smaller dogs or cats. She also is working on eating quietly in her crate and not barking at her foster siblings while they are eating too. She loves food! 🍪
Minka is a lower energy girl. She loves a walk but is otherwise happy to sit on the couch with her foster parents. she does best with other lower energy dogs who are not going to get all up in her face. She is very tolerant of them but does let her little siblings know to leave her alone. 🐾
This pretty pup needs a home where she can be indoors most of the time and be brushed regularly due to her super thick undercoat. She would do best in a home with calmer adult dog siblings or even none at all. She will need a family who will keep her active with walks and other adventures! Most of all she needs to know the unconditional love that families are supposed to have for each other and know she will never be left behind again. 🏡
