Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Great News: ADOPTION PENDING... THANK YOU PAT!!!
Minnie has just arrived from a kill pound... She is a happy, adorable, precious bundle of joy!
She has a doctor's appt. for 1-23-06 at 10:30 AM. She will not be able to be placed immediately(always 14 day hold in my home to make sure she doesn't come down with anything.)...
She must be checked for Heartworm, have a stool check. make sure she is UTD on shots, etc.
There is a possibility that she is pregnant & if preg. she will not be adopted out until after delivery & weaning of her pups & spayed... NOT pregnant & Minnie is now spayed.
UPDATE: 1/23:
Back from vet's:
Minnie was seen by Dr. Wooding at the Blairstown Animal Hospital:
http://blairstownanimalhospital.com/
I am excited to share that Dr. Wooding was quite taken by Minnie & I really thought that he was going to ask to adopt her! He was very, very impressed with her quiet, calm, sweet personality... how still she stood on the examining table. He said he couldn't feel any sign of pregnancy... he also commented that she has a very stocky build for a small fur-kid & that she appears to be in very good health. Dr. Wooding said she will make someone a very nice companion. : )
The girls in the office thought she looked part Jack Russell Terrier... with rescued canines it's really hard to tell exactly what they are mixed with but we do try our best to try to give you an idea of what they look like.
I also had her checked for a micro-chip just incase someone took the extra time & money to make sure should she ever become lost she would be able to get home to them... unfortunately, there was no micro-chip. : (
Age guess: Between 1 & 2 years.
Her bill for today was $148.00:
Ear mite treatment/Ivermectin: $8.00
Office vist: $38.00
Fecal exam: $18.00
Rabies 1 year: $18.00
Home Again Identification Chip: $40.00
Heartworm Antigen Test: $26.00 (NEGATIVE 1/24/06)
1/24/06 Medicine for parasites : $12.00
1/30/06 Stool Recheck: $18.00
1/31/06 Medicine for parasites: $22.00 (2 doses to be given 2 weeks apart)
1/31/06 Sales Tax: $1.32
Total to date (1/31/06) for Minnie's Health Care Is:
$201.32
Additional cost of spay:
$75.00 through "Friends of Animals"
Which then will bring total vetting costs to:
$276.32
She had the other necessary shots on 1/20/06 at the pound.
What is micro-chipping?:

Next she will be spayed when I am absolutely sure she is parasite free... now spayed.
I am currently accepting applications for her adoption:

There is an adoption application to fill out, home visit & you must be approximately within 65 miles of Blairstown, NJ... I do ALL of my home visits personally & bring this cutie with me.
