My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shani is a 1 year old, 19 lb Cavalier/Poodle mix. Her former owner's initial plan was to sell her as a puppy but when that didn't pan out, she put him outside. Unfortunately, she wasn't handled or interacted with much, so she is very shy around new people. Once Shani feels comfortable with you, she loves to snuggle and give kisses. She will also jump up on you to be held.

Shani absolutely adores other dogs and we think she would be fine with cats, too. She is playful and loves to run around her foster family's fenced in yard. She enjoys playing with toys, too.

Shani is crate-trained and loves to eat. She requires a patient, understanding home who is willing to work with her.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Another dog - she follows the lead of other dogs
- A secure fenced in yard. Shani is NOT comfortable on leash and is skittish, so it is imperative she goes to a home who is cautious.
- No children - Shani is NOT aggressive in the least but due to her skittish nature, she needs a quieter home.
