My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BRUNSWICK, NEW YORK, Maverick, 6 year old male Newfoundland, Neutered/UTD needs a new home. Currently weighs about 140 lbs. Maverick is Free to a loving experienced home with an approved adoption application. Maverick and his saint bernard brother were rescued by a family in Brunswick, NY. Their original owner lost her home and couldnt care for them any longer. He has been with his foster family for about 2 months.
Maverick is NOT getting along with the rottie at the home and needs a home without other dogs (or perhaps a sweet large female dog). Maverick is NOT good with little kids, but LOVES LOVES the kids over 10-and older. He is Great on a leash. Never goes after any dogs on walk or at the baseball games etc. A beagle ran up to him and loved him. No issues. He loves and is great at the vets office and groomers. He loves to swim and LOVES LOVES IS CAR RIDES. The family has a cat. He is way too interested in the cat - so not sure how he would be.
