My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Shirley-This sweet old girl of many names is still waiting for her forever home! She was dumped at a kill shelter when she was too old and could no longer breed. She is estimated to be ~12 but appeared to still have milk in her glands per the vet, also a mammory tumor that had to be removed. She also has a cherry eye the vet chose not to remove and said it shouldn't bother her. Her life has been a bit rough but she sure is loveable and so grateful for attention and loving care! She's an easy companion and would love just to lay close by and watch you, take all the pets she can get and she loves treats! She's great with other animals and enjoys the soft attention small children provide. She loves car rides, enjoys a toy or a bone and is taking walks to get in better shape having been a little overweight! Sara is around 60lb but 55 is probably her ideal weight.
