More about this shelter

Rockingham County Animal Shelter is an open-admission shelter dedicated to promoting and protecting the animals in our community. We provide shelter for lost and unwanted animals, facilitate adoptions, reunite pets with their owners, and educate the public about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spay and neuter programs. Our mission is supported by donations, and we are currently in need of Purina Dry Dog and Puppy Food, Purina Dry Cat and Kitten Food, canned cat and dog food, treats, blankets, towels, bleach, Lysol wipes, newspapers, non-clumping cat litter, cat toys, durable dog toys, cardboard scratching posts, and plastic carriers. Your generous contributions help us continue providing quality care and services to our animals and community.
