My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Enoch. I am a little over 3yrs old and weigh 48 lbs. I am a pretty active guy who loves to run and play now that I am no longer tied up all alone in a backyard. I'm naturally still a little on the shy side when meeting people because I lived chained outside and never had much interaction with my owner (who did not even care to feed me most of the time). Now that I find myself surrounded by kind people who give me attention, I am over the moon and loving every bit of it! I am still a little excitable at meal times, but I'm finally learning that meals are a regular thing now and that starvation is a thing of the past. Other than a stray dog wondering over once in a while to visit me in my old backyard, I haven't had a lot of doggy friends, but I like just about every dog I've met so far. My idea of an ideal family is an active, family, who likes the outdoors, and will take me along on adventures because after being tied up to a chain from puppyhood, I have much exercise and exploring to catch up to. I dream of a forever home where I can lay down on a cushy dog bed at my humans feet, keeping me warm in the winter and cool in the summer. That's what I dream of.
