SUNNY is a one and one half year old, aptly named, ray of sunshine. This young, happy shepherd mix loves to please! A volunteer favorite we have been so impressed with his lovely manners and handler attentiveness. He must have been taught with love by someone before we rescued him from the shelter.
He sits for treats, is super treat motivated and comes when called.

We love how Sunny prances when he walks with his head held high. You can’t help but smile. Sunny is the “easiest dog I have ever walked” said one volunteer. He leashes up easily and likes to walk next to you. He loves his walks!

Sunny was in a temporary foster and his foster mom was very impressed with his house manners. "He is potty trained and does not get into things in the house. He loves to stay by your side for pets. He likes being brushed."
His foster mom said Sunny loves “exercise, enrichment and to be with you! He is eager to learn and enjoys training"
Sunny is longing for his own person to love him.
He just curls up in your lap and falls asleep because he is so happy and relaxed to be loved.

Sunny is very dog friendly! He Loves other dogs and would do well in a home with a playmate. He enjoys running and playing outside and would love a yard to play in with a friend.

Sunny is a calm, easy going and moderate energy dog. He would love an active, fun family and he is ok with hiking or cuddling, beach walks and adventures. Sunny is a gentle boy and older children would be great!! He is very social and easy with all people and dogs. He just wants to be engaged with you and part of the fun.
