This sweet little dog is approx 1 year old and 15 lbs.. we are not sure of his breed mix, but he looks as if he may be a Maltese or Poodle mix, he was very matted when we rescued him and he was recently groomed,Tilson loves toys and will always find one to play with, he loves his doggie bed and will curl up in one while his foster is working in her office, he gets along with the other dogs and likes to play,he has a very nice disposition and seems to be pretty well house trained, but not perfect, he will run out to the yard with the other dogs to go to the bathroom, he does well on a leash and likes to ride in the car..he will make a great companion for someone, we have no idea how he is with cats.

His foster feels that he will do better with a buddy and not be an only dog and that he really needs a fully fenced in and secure yard to run and play with a buddy

OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and we do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years.

WE REQUIRE AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF VET RECORDS ON YOUR CURRENT OR PAST DOG FOR OUR REVIEW. RECORDS MUST SHOW THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER AS THE OWNER, YOUR DOGS MUST BE UP TO DATE ON VACCINES AND BE ON A MONTHLY HEARTWORM AND FLEA/TICK PREVENTATIVE.

The total adoption fee of $600 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport to his foster form Texas, spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at
