My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emerald (“Emma”) is an amazingly beautiful 9-month-old puppy with striking green eyes.

She looks like a blend of a Labrador Retriever and Chesapeake Bay Retriever with maybe a hint of Rhodesian Ridgeback and German Shorthair Pointer.

Emma is full grown at about 45 to 50 pounds.

She was raised in a family with two little children and is marvelous with kids - gentle as a lamb and a real sweetheart!

Emma is completely housebroken and crate-trained, not a barker, and never wanders off. She’s just a very, very good dog, and will make a perfect family buddy.

She’s an active, playful, fun pupper who would be a super best friend for an active individual or a fun-loving family.

Emma is very smart and very well behaved. She’s wonderful with other dogs, big and small, and she’s great with kitties.

Of course, Emma is spayed, up to date on all her shots, and ready for her forever home.

She’s also microchipped.

I am a firm believer in having potential adopters take a pup home for a “sleepover” to see how your family, your other pets, and your best new buddy all get along. We always take our rascals back if it isn’t a good fit.
