Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Second Chance Habitat is seeking a foster or forever home for Bari that's just as great as he is! Even his transporter to the vet fell in love with him. He was rescued from the Duplin County shelter in Kenansville, NC, and he takes such joy in being alive! He's a true sweetheart, good with humans and loves to play with other dogs. His description is below.
Brindle & white Terrier, American Staffordshire mix
1 year old, 40 pounds
Fully vaccinated, neutered, hw negative
Bari came in as a stray to the Duplin County shelter, along with Cynthia. Both are very nice dogs, good with other dogs and are so full of joy! Bari is funny and smart--knows his commands-- and loves to raise his paw for "shake." Plus, this little guy wakes up each day with his tail wagging! In fact, the only time it's not wagging is when he is sleeping. He seems to be housebroken and very mannerly and polite. He loves riding in a car and didn't even mind going to the vet to be neutered! Okay, he didn't know about the neutering part, but he was still a good passenger!
Here's what his transporter had to say about Bari:
"Sometimes you just don't want to leave them. Bari is about 11 months old and 40 pounds, just a bundle of happiness. He loved riding in the car and meeting the cat at the clinic. (He was good with the cat.) He will make a wonderful addition to someone's life. He has the cutest little wiggle butt! He is adorable and I love him!"
Comments from Bari's NC foster: Bari is very dedicated to his humans. A super loyal pal. He will wait at the gate or fence line for me--and loves to play fetch! He is a super pup who will want to discover new adventures with his human. He is also content to lay on his back and be loved!
Bari is a good size, too, at only 40 pounds. The rescue will provide a dog crate, dog food, collar, leash and any other items Bari may need in foster care. If you are interested in adopting or fostering Bari, email adoptionsecondchance@gmail.com or text Ann at 757-630-6181.
