Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Max. He is a 7 to 8 year old Shepherd mix. Max is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. We just had blood work done and he is very healthy! Max loves his toys and playing fetch. He's good with other dogs as long as they have good manners. Max has not had a great life prior to coming to us. He's a little shy and warms up quickly. He's not a dog that will be on top of you all the time as he is a little aloof. Max is such a great dog with great manners, walks well on a leash and is a favorite of the volunteers. You fall in love with him as soon as you meet him. Could that be with you?

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Max at the local shelter. He’s gorgeous, loving, walks well on a leash, seems to enjoy other non-hyper dogs, and loves to sunbathe, play fetch, and get lovies. He shakes, he sits. He comes on command in the yard. He goes into his kennel easily, and cheerfully. This is a dream dog for someone that wants a grateful companion. 💕
