My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

He is about 7 years old. He was a Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) rescue. He was a full grown cat when he was trapped and possibly a feral kitten, and barely socialized. After he was fixed and vaccinated, he was released to the same locality I lived and we took him into our TNR group care. His left ear tip has been clipped to mark him as TNRs for animal control purposes. I brought him indoors a few months later. As part of our multi cat household he became more socially integrated, but still displayed some resistance to handling. That was 5 years ago. I relocated to Brooklyn, NY in 2020. Since then he has made great strides in his accepting other cats (no dogs for him!), displaying affection, napping next to us, and finding general comfort in a quiet household where his physical and emotional needs are cared for. He might need a few weeks to adapt, but we are confident he now trusts people to accept a new home and caregivers. He is very intelligent and playful.
