Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sonja 6757
On the path to the Humane Society bark park, 6-month-old Sonja walked comfortably next to the photographer while wearing her ever-present, glad-to-know-you grin. Sonja quickly discovered a new “lets-spend-some-time-together squeaky, the classical Piglet of Pooh fame, who willingly accompanied her on the bark park tour. A few moments into the photo session, two men who were delivering a donated park bench, entered the enclosure and carried it close to where Sonja was strolling. The visitors became instant friends as Sonja quickly scurried up to them with her welcoming energies and her ubiquitous smiles. The photographer just watched with amazement as Sonja enticingly snuggled up to one of the humans, who shared the warmth of the encounter with a returned-from-the-heart hug. The interaction continued even as the men were exiting the park. The photographer, who is continuously striving for esteemed homes for the Humane Society canines, did his best to convince the possible adopter that Sonja, with her astounding focus and sharing of touch, was hoping for a forever home. The delivery gentleman, who had just a week earlier adopted another canine, respectfully, but anguishingly had to decline. Sonja is a quiet, huggable, lovable canine whose only prerequisite is a home where she could be the only canine. Sonja is waiting for you at the Humane Society for Animals in Rogers, AR.
