Bailey came to us last year from an older friend who found that his energy level was just too much for her. I did not want him to end up in a shelter, so I agreed to foster him. He is very energetic, loves to be outside and loves to swim in the pool! Unfortunately, he has never really gotten along with our other 2 dogs. I don't believe he was socialized properly as a pup and does not know how to be around other dogs. He is not aggressive, he just doesn't know when to stop playing, and this usually ends up with someone getting hurt. I have had to keep him separate from our other 2, and I don't feel this is fair on him.
He would suit being the only dog in a household. Because of his energy level, I do not recommend small children. He is house trained, knows basic commands, such as sit, stay, paw, place, home and break. He is a heavy chewer, fluffy toys generally don't last more than a few minutes. He loves to play and chase his tail, but is also happy to snuggle on the sofa.
