When we say Duke has come a long way, we mean it! This beautiful boy ended up at the shelter when his owner went into rehab. We don’t know what all he endured for his first three years of his life but his foster/trainer John has worked with him for several months now, and he’s flourished into a pretty great guy ❤️

Duke LOVES other dogs and spends his days playing with his canine friends, all shapes and sizes. He LOVES going for walks and adventures and smelling all the wonderful new smells. He has no known food or toy aggression and has quite the personality and a great sense of humor. He uses his voice to communicate which could intimidate some people but once you get to know HIM you’ll understand and learn his big heart ❤️

Duke needs an adult only active home who is experienced with the breed. He’s a BIG, strong guy who also needs another dog in his life…females are his favorite but he’s happy with all 🐾 It’s time for him to finally find the life he deserved all along ❤️

Duke is fully vetted and is currently located in Ohio. We would prefer a meet and greet with him and his trainer John for any potential adopter so if interested you would need to be able to travel to the Vandalia area.
