My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Misa Miya is just one of the guys, kickin butt and taken names later. She loves the big and little kids and will belly crawl in their face, till they relent! Also loves the nascar, tug-of-war and wrestle-mania in the yard.

Go meet their pets

While we may provide events for interested parties to learn, support/visit our Hooligans; it is not a primary promotional function, in the best interest of our dogs.

We will gladly set up an appointment for anyone interested in visiting the Hooligans at the sanctuary in Beaver Crossing. Keep in mind this is a home, not a public facility, so there are no visiting hours. You must make an appointment to visit.

More about this rescue

Husker's Hope Dachshund Rescue, Inc. specializes in the rescue and care of Dachshunds, Dachshund Mixes and similar breeds, who suffer from the breed specific injuries and/or medical issues that place these dogs at high risk for death in a shelter/rescue. We also provide a rehabilitation service to qualified families with dogs, suffering from IVDD at no cost. While we do work with healthy dogs, our mission is to work with those that need hope, so they too can become "healthy" dogs, that someone will want to adopt and love forever.
