Hello My New Friends. I’m the Handsome Buttons, My Foster mom and the amazing people at HPDRS said I can have a chat with you all and explain who I am, what I know, like and need.
My age is 1 year 6 months old in Human years. I weigh a healthy 12 pounds. My handsome coat is black and white and soft all over. Despite my breed, I do shed as I like to leave part of me all over you,so you can’t forget that Buttons loves you. This also mean I am NOT a hypoallergenic pup.
I am a smart pup and 90% crate-trained and house-trained. I know to use a pee pad for cold weather days.
I love going for walks and playing my favourite game call Fetch. I love my toys very much. They come to bed me,they also share my meals and go potty with me. I’m a snuggle bug as well and will cuddle and watch TV with you. I am very smart, so dog agility or flyball would be so much fun and We could get exercise and have laughs together.
I would love to have a doggy brother or sister as I love to play games and share toys with them. If my new family has a human brother or sister for me, well they need to be 10 years or older please. The smaller ones they makes me nervous as they sometimes pull hair, ears and tails. Ouches.
I am a typical puppy and sometimes do things I shouldn't. But I am working on bettering myself. Training classes will also help me and you become closer and have a stronger bond. This is also required to adopt me.
I love sharing with you and , should food and drinks be coffee tables or end tables I will try for it.
Again I’m still a pup and still learning, so I will sometimes chew things I’m not suppose to , as I’m teething a little still.
I have a weird little quirk when I’m in my kennel . I will sometimes lunge at the door when you are shutting it. This is easily corrected and with doing training with me we can totally concur this habit .( me having my toy also helps)
I am a sweetheart of a Boy and can be a little chatty at time, so I will not be adopted to a Condo/ Apartment or Townhouse type dwelling. This is to help us all stay safe and happy.
