Meet Jackpot! Jackpot came to us when we were trapping 2 summers ago behind a local pest control business. We had been there a week trying to trap 2 tiny kittens. A young, orange tabby was closely watching from the nearby woods. He was very hungry and continued tp come out of the wood line toward the trap, I scared him away several times so he would not go into the trap, but it did not deter him - he continued to try to enter the trap. Out loud I said, "Okay, buddy. You need a home, too, I'm sorry. Go ahead in the trap. I will get you a home and keep you safe. Anything has to be better than livin' out here in the heat with no food. Go ahead."
After hearing my words, he came out of the woods for the the last time, stopped, looked directly into my eyes, and walked straight into the trap. The trap closed and he sat down calmly. I got the sense that he knew EXACTLY what he was doing. He had watched as the other cats walked into the trap and went into the car. I said to him, "Well... you hit the jackpot today, buddy." Hence his name, Jackpot.
So...please meet Jackpot. Jackpot is a sweet baby, about 2 year old. He loves to be pet and will rub up against you when you enter a room, he can be picked up, but not for long - he would rather have all 4 paws soundly on the ground. As soon as you open the door, Jackpot jumps off his climber to meet you. He is very much a people cat and LOVES other cats. He loves to pair up with another cat and walk side by side - like they are attached by velcro. He will rub up against the other cat with his head. Jackpot had to be someone's once. The place where he was found was right next to a large truck repair place - did he get into a truck and travelled far away from home?
Jackpot is neutered, had his FRCP and rabies vaccines, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration.
His perfect home would be a quiet, low activity home, with another cat friend, he loves to pair up with another male cat.
Please give this sweet boy another chance at the lottery jackpot - his forever home - with a family who loves and cherishes him. You won't regret it. Ready to win this Jackpot? GoodMews22@aol.com or call 540.717.4420
