Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Andy is a sweetheart! You’d never know he had a rough start. Andy was found with a frayed electrical cord around his neck running loose. Several people stopped to help him and he loved the attention, welcoming belly rubs. He was then taken to the shelter and sat for a while until one of our volunteers spotted him. Once with us, he underwent surgery to have his eye removed. Poor guy, it was painful and we are guessing he was also blind in that eye. Hard to tell how his eye was injured but he’s adjusted perfectly, healed, and has been waiting for his start! Andy follows his foster dad around and loves to be his shadow. He’s currently being fostered with three other huskies! All he gets along with famously. There is another male in the home who is very dominant, they are separated but his foster says it’s not Andy, it’s his dog being bossy! His favorite foster siblings were two young puppies. He LOVES puppies! Andy is rather calm for a husky. He will sleep in his crate at night but prefers to sleep in the bed with his family. He likes being with his person. He’ll occasionally bark/sing once the husky howls start. Loves chew toys. Has not been destructive in chewing anything in the house. He knows basic commands and is very treat motivated. He's calm when he's inside the house as well. He is extremely friendly with people and very gentle with the others he has been introduced to. Andy is crate-trained and housebroken. He is current on vaccines, neutered, chipped, and on preventions. Please consider fostering or adopting Andy!
